FORGIVEN REJOICING EXPECTING ETERNITYGod created mankind, and made them free
To do what they want and be who they want to be There was only one rule they had to keep "There's a fruit in the middle that you shall not eat" Eve knew everything God had to say She was free to do right, or free to disobey Adam also knew, what he was meant to do But in his freedom he was free to make the wrong choice too He chose to stand with Eve, and let her sin in his sight He didn't stand for God and do what's right. This is where the slavery of man would begin This is the time mankind became the slaves of Sin Then God said "Now is not the time for pardon, I have a plan, but for now you have to leave the garden" So now we move around the world, in shame and disgrace God's too good for us to share in his holy space Just imagine if you tried to live on the sun You'd be a memory, long before your journey was done This doesn't mean the son's against you, he was never your foe It simply means you can't handle, the truth in the glow. Because God is God and God is good He had a plan planned out in a cross of wood He made a way for us, to finally be the way we once were when we once were free. We gave away our freedom when we took on sin We became of the lost and gave sin the win In order to be free and God approved We needed to be restored and have the sin removed But the sin was Deep and well ingrained It ran all the way through, we were deeply stained Like trying to uncook a loaf of bread Simply taking out the sin would leave us dead. But God knew how sin could be counteracted He knew what to do so it could be extracted He knew what to do so we could exist In the fullness of his glory in his awesomeness A Savior would come, and set us free And show us what humans, could really be. Sin was allowed to take the life of the one sin free human being in the whole of man's history But He chose to give it up for the sake of his wife He conquered sin and death and took back His life Now we have the right, to walk in the light To shine bright and be free, fully in God's sight We still have the free choice to sin if we choose But we're heirs now, so we choose to refuse. Our Big Brother came to show us how it should be done And who better to show us than God's own son. Christ's death and Resurrection is the gift that's free That sets us free from sin, so watch the enemy flee Because of Christ, sacrificed, I can say I'm FREE. FORGIVEN REJOICING EXPECTING ETERNITY. |

Dear Lord, I lift my eye, to the Sky
I know you care for me, but I wonder why. You are everlasting, I'm just passing by I'm born, I live a little, and then I die. What is it that I do, to justify you thinking of me, please testify. |
Free Time
Time to...Use the time between when you're born and when you die,
to seek God and ask for help to understand your why. Tend to your life like a garden and plant good seeds. Feed what needs to be fed and uproot the weeds. Take the time to kill an argument with love and grace. Make the time to heal a rift and put a smile on a face. Tear down the things that harm us and destroy our souls. Build bridges with each other to achieve our goals. Sometimes things will just affect you, take the time to weep. Also laugh at yourself and don't go too deep. Before it's time to mourn, while you have the chance, if you have a spouse, ask them if they'd like to dance. Share what you have with many people, the way you scatter stones, then when it's time to gather them they'll bring a warmth to your bones. Embrace every issue you're currently facing. Take the chance with every issue you refrain from embracing. Search for what to give up, what you need to stay, what it is you need to keep and what you have to throw away When you have to shed a tear take the time to mend, take your time and be silent then go and speak to a friend Love your neighbour as yourself, make your ego wait. The things the Lord hates are the things to hate. Bring the war to the enemy as you increase. Bring your heart to the Father, He will give you peace. |

Only Son...Think for a moment, consider if you had a son.
Or if you have, imagine he's your only one. And if he is, reflect on what he means to you. To protect him, what is there that you would not do? If you haven't got a son, you might still like to ponder, if there could be another person, of whom you'd be fonder. You'd do your best to make sure, your boy was safe and sound. You'd feel the pain, if you saw his knee scrape the ground. You'd share his joy when another birthday comes around. You'd understand it when a girl gets his heart to pound. You'd want to lead him, and guide him in the way that's right. You want to teach him when to run, when to stand and fight. If you lost him it would break you lay you out on the floor. In short you'd love him like yourself, in fact a little bit more. Could you send him to war, when you know for sure, he'd be hated and abused by those he's fighting for? At what point would you step in to stop his pain? How much, of his suffering could you contain? Would you let things play out or say "This ends now!" ? Would you remember your plan and that you made a vow? Would you be able to watch, as they taunt and they spit, all the wrongs they commit, as they mock and they hit? Would you feel, lost and overcome with hate and despair, as you're fully aware, they're being fully unfair? But the thing is, you love them just as much as him. Even though you always knew, they would pierce each limb. Would you be able to resist, simply wiping them out? Or would you say "To me they're worth it, I have no doubt!"? And as they carry out their aim, to make him cease to live As he dies, he cries "Dad it's OK, please forgive!" You know you taught him well, he's been through hell, Yet when it's finished, he still is able to excel. That's why you had to send him out, so they could truly see. They couldn't do it by themselves, not with their history. Though separation from your boy is every kind of pain, his Killers', redemption, is the prize you gain. You know the story didn't end when he breathed his last. That old life was small, his new life is vast. He chose to do your will, and put his life on the line, to allow what is carnal to become divine. This is a gift given freely, if they just believe. Yet you leave them free, to choose what they receive. You love them too much, to force them to stay. You offered up his life, and now they know the way. They know the way to you is open, there's no need to die. They can live with you forever and no longer cry. So imagine, if you will, your one and only son. If you had to give him up, would the job get done? |

Break Free
RestraintsWe're in this together, we need each other.
We're birds of a feather, I'm with you brother. The enemy is trying, to keep us crying. Just keep glorifying, the one who's dying made everything better, while hung on a tree. Fractured every Fetter, so we could break free. So make yourself ready, ignore your complaints. Stand up and keep steady, cast off your restraints. |
